Dr. Gerald Schroeder gives a compelling lecture on the biblical view of creation can be scientifically explained.
I saw this lecture many years ago and it had an impact on me. Our universe is ordered and there are rules and laws that govern our existence. Science is not as infallible as one would think. How something works quite often depends on many assumptions. Jumping from a height of 100 feet without a safety net will most likely kill you… but only if the gravitational pull on your body is greater than a certain amount. You probably assumed that I was speaking about somewhere on earth, but what if I was talking about the moon?
Selwyn V. Aguillera
Similarly, when we speak of time what are our assumptions? Are we talking about time as we experience it here on earth; spacetime, as popularized by Albert Einstein; or even stranger, are we talking about quantum time?
